Immigration guards present at the Untold Festival

About 30,000 foreigners have spent this weekend in Cluj at the Untold Festival. Good music, good humor and the hospitality of the Romanians were some of the landmarks which foreigners had in mind when they chose Romania.
In this context, the policemen from the General Inspectorate for Immigration – Immigration Service of Cluj County were on duty and were part of M.A.I. device, specially constituted for this event.
Thus, during the four-day festival, the Immigration police had the task to prevent violation of legal rules of its area of competence. Also, police officers participated, in integrated system, at joint actions with other MAI forces to prevent any anti-social behavior and to urgently identify foreign citizens who could commit such acts, as well as taking necessary measures to ensure public safety.
The event was treated with the utmost attention by the general inspector of I.G.I., police main quaestor Viorel Vasile, who mobilized for this activity the entire human resources and logistics available in the Immigration Service Cluj. The Cluj Immigration policemen were an active and permanent presence in the inner area of the festival, adjacent areas, and in the Unirii Square area where a stage with free access was located.
Also to mention is the fact that throughout the period of the festival no special events committed by foreigners were recorded. At the successful fulfillment of the entrusted mission contributed both the involved structures and the people from Cluj to whom we are thankful.
