THREE MANDATORY RETURNING TO THE HOME COUNTRY DECISIONS ISSUED BY BUCHAREST IMMIGRATION OFFICERS. ONE COMPANY SANCTIONED WITH A FINE IN AMOUNT OF 20,000 LEI

During previous days, Immigration Officers working with the Bucharest Immigration issued three MANDATORY RETURNING TO THE HOME COUNTRY DECISIONS. Related to fighting illegal employment of aliens, CEO of a company has been sanctioned with a fine in amount of 20,000 lei.

On 7 and 8 December 2022, Immigration Officers performed a police raid within the AOR, aiming to prevent and fight illegal residence of the aliens in Romania.

With this occasion, they caught in illegal status two males Nepalese nationals, aged 31 and 32.

After completing the investigations, it has been concluded that they both legally entered Romania, but after the visa validity expired, they did not leave the country.

Also, a female Vietnamese national, aged 40, with illegal residence status, has been invited for clarifications by the police officers working with the Police Station no.7-Bucharest.

Following all of the above, in line with the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no.194/2002, with all later amendments, MANDATORY RETURNING DECISIONS TO THE HOME COUNTRY WITHIN a VOLUNTARY ASSUMED 15 DAYS PERIOD have been issued.

Also, Immigration Officers finalized their investigation regarding a company. CEO of the company has been sanction with a fine in amount of 20,000 de lei for employing two Nepalese nationals without having proper documents-employment visa and contracts.

They were caught within the 15 days voluntary assumed deadline for returning to the home country-in full compliance with the provisions of the Government Ordinance no.25/2014 regarding employment and reassigning for other employment of the aliens in Romania, with all further amendments.
