On 25 November 2022, Immigration officers performed a raid aiming to prevent and fight illegal residence and unregistered employment of the foreigners.

A construction company was checked and a number of seven males, India nationals, aged ranging between 31 to 40 were found with illegal residence.

Following the necessary investigations, it was established that foreigners legally entered ROMANIA, with EMPLOYMENT/LABOUR VISA, but later on, when found, they did not meet anymore the legal requirements for residing in ROMANIA.
