Petition Form

The petition means the request, complaint, notification or proposal made in writing, or by e-mail, which a citizen or a legally constituted organization may address to central and local public authorities and institutions, decentralized public services of ministries and other central bodies. , national companies and societies, commercial companies of county or local interest, as well as autonomous administrations, called public authorities and institutions.

Anonymous petitions or those in which the petitioner's identification data are not entered are not considered and are classified.

The activity of solving the petitions is regulated by GEO no. 27/2002 approved by Law 233/2002.

The request, petition or complaint must contain a detailed description of the circumstances in which the facts occurred or indicate the legal basis on which the request is made.

Persons whose personal data are processed by the General Inspectorate for Immigration may exercise their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation by a written, dated and signed application which may be submitted to the personal data controller by the services of by personal deposit at IGI offices, by fax or using the online forms available on the IGI website.
