If there are changes regarding the name, surname, citizenship, address, as well as in case of loss or theft, destruction or damage of the document certifying the residence on the territory of the Romanian state, you must obtain another certificate of registration, respectively another card. of residence. For this, you will submit, to the territorial formations of the General Inspectorate for Immigration in the county where you live, in addition to the documents provided by law for issuing the registration certificate, respectively the residence card and the following documents, as appropriate:

– proof of change (except for the address of residence which may be declaratory)

– proof that you have declared the theft of documents issued by the Romanian authorities based on the orders of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 102/2005.

Theft of documents based on which it is allowed to cross the state border of Romania, as well as those issued by the Romanian authorities, based on the orders of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 102/2005, shall be declared to the competent territorial police body, within 48 hours from the report of the event.

Loss, damage or destruction of documents issued by the Romanian authorities based on the orders of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 102/2005 is declared to the territorially competent formation of the General Inspectorate for Immigration, within 48 hours from the report of the event.
