NEW POLICE OPERATIONS IN BUCHAREST, PERFORMED BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICERS: THREE ALIENS FOUND WITH ILLEGAL RESIDENCE -SUBJECTS OF THE FORBIDDING ENTERING ROMANIA DECISIONS

Three males, out of which two Sri Lankan nationals and one Pakistani national, found in illegal residence status, became subjects of the FORBIDDING ENTERING ROMANIA DECISIONS, for periods ranging from 6 months to 5 years. 

On 6 December 2022, IMMIGRATION OFFICERS working with the Bucharest Immigration Directorate took over from the Henri Coandă Airport -Border Crossing Office, a male Pakistan national, aged 24, which according with Dublin Regulation  was subject of transfer proceedings from Germany to Romania.

The above mention individual is also subject of a RETURNING UNDER ESCORT TO THE HOME COUNTRY DECISION. Until departing Romania, he has been taken in public custody and accommodated at the Centre for Accommodation of the Aliens Taken in Public Custody –Otopeni.

Also, when leaving Romania, according with provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no.194/2002, with all later amendments, there will be enforced a FORBIDDING ENTERING ROMANIA DECISION, for a period of 5 years.

During the same police operation performed by the Immigration officers, they caught two males Sri Lankan nationals, aged 42 and 44.

Following investigations it was concluded that both legally entered Romania, but when residence visa expired, they did not leave Romania.

Regarding the male aged 42, a RETURNING UNDER ESCORT DECISION TO THE HOME COUNTRY has been issued and he was escorted to the Henri Coandă Airport -Border Crossing Office.

Also, when leaving Romania, according with provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no.194/2002, with all later amendments, there will be enforced for a period of 1 year a FORBIDDING ENTERING ROMANIA DECISION.

For the other male aged 44, it has been issued a RETURNING UNDE ESCORT DECISION TO THE HOME within a 15 days departure voluntary assumed deadline from Romania.

After departing Romania, according with provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no.194/2002, with all later amendments, there will be enforced a FORBIDDING ENTERING ROMANIA DECISION, for a period of 6 months.
