In order to obtain a long stay visa for family reunification, the family members of the non UE / EEA citizen must submit the following documents:

a. communication made to the General Inspectorate for Immigration

b. proof of medical insurance through the validity period of the visa

c. criminal record certificate or other document with the same legal value issued by the authorities in the country of domicile or residence of the foreigner.

The visa fee is 120 EUR and is paid in the State where the request is made.

Family members of the Romanian citizen shall submit the following documents for visa:​

a. the marriage certificate issued by Romanian authorities or transcribed under the law, or, where appropriate, evidence of the kinship or of the quality of partner

The long stay visa is granted for a period of 90 days, with one or more trips.
