On 3rd December 2022, IMMIGRATION officers performed a raid within AOR, aiming to prevent and fight illegal residence of the aliens on Romanian territory.

Following the investigations performed, officers caught two males, aged 25 and 36 years old respectively, one from Pakistan and one from Republic of Moldova.

It was concluded that they legally entered ROMANIA, but when their visa residence expired, they did not perform any of the required actions for extending the visa.

As a result of those mentioned above, in line with the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no.194/2002, with all its further amendments, a DECISION FOR REMOVAL FROM ROMANIAN TERITORRY was issued against the male national of the Republic of Moldova, with voluntary departure within the next 15 days.

Also, when departing ROMANIA, a DECISION BANNING ENTERING ROMANIAN TERITORRY for the next two years will be issued.

Because the male national of Pakistan submitted a request for International Protection Status, he was accompanied to the Regional Centre for Proceedings and Accommodation of the Asylum Seekers-Bucharest where he will stay till the proceedings will be finalized.

IMMIGRATION officers will keep performing these kinds of raids.
