During raids performed by Immigration officers from Dâmbovița District, a male national from Turkiye was tracked; it was established that he did not leave ROMANIA when legal residence status expired. A RETURNING DECISION TO THE HOME COUNTRY WITHIN A VOLUNTARY ASSUMED DEADLINE of 15 days, was also issued.

On 24 November 2022, officers working with Immigration Office of Dâmbovița District, organized a raid aiming to track illegal foreigners.

With this occasion, they found a male national from Turkiye, aged 41, which did not meet anymore the legal requirements for residing in ROMANIA.

Following investigations, it was concluded that the foreigner legally entered ROMANIA,based on an LONG STAYING VISA TYPE, but later on, before expiring visa valability, he did not leave ROMANIA.

Following the all mentioned above, Immigration officers issued a RETURNING DECISION TO THE HOME COUNTRY WITHIN  15 DAYS-A VOLUNTARY ASSUMED DEADLINE.

In line with the legal provisions of the Government s Emergency Ordinance no.194/2004 on legal status of the foreigners in ROMANIA, with all later legal updates, the illegal foreigner was sanctioned with a WARNING.

IMMIGRATION officers will keep performing such kind of raids.
