THREE MALES FROM BANGLADESH TAKEN IN PUBLIC CUSTODY

At the end of last week, Immigration officers working with Immigration Office – Mehedinți District, introduced in the Centre for Accommodations for Foreigners taken in Public Custody-Arad, three males foreign nationals from Bangladesh, due to their illegal residing status in ROMANIA.

After leaving ROMANIA, a DECISION FORBIDDING ENTERING ON ROMANIAN TERITORY will be issued for a period of time ranging between 6 months and 1 year and 6 months respectively.


On 24 November 2022, Immigration officers took over from Transportation Police Unit -Mehedinți District three males, Bangladeshi nationals, aged between 22 and 45 years, found with illegal residing status in ROMANIA.


Towards all of them, until they will be forcibly expelled from ROMANIA, a decision of putting them under public custody was taken and they were accommodated in the Centre for Accommodations for Foreigners taken in Public Custody – Arad.

Following departure from Romanian territory, in line with the provisions of the Government s Emergency Ordinance no.194/2004 on legal status of the foreigners in ROMANIA, with all later legal updates, there will be enforced a DECISION OF FORBIDDING ENTERING ON ROMANIAN TERITORY for periods ranging between 6 months and 1 year and 6 months respectively.

National Gendarmery provided all necessary support during the operation.
